Skincare Empties & Repurchased Items VOL 1.

Top Nigerian beauty blogger

Happy New Year!

That rolled out nicer than I expected.
I've been missing in action and I'm so sick of the excuses.  I hear ya and I apologize; but you have to hear it- I hit the writer's block (pun intended) also coupled with a pinch of lazy.

But it feels so good to write again and finally complete this post that has been in my draft since November of 2017. But, here we are now *stares at my resolutions for 2018*.

How To Shop For Good Quality Skincare Products When On A Slim Budget

How to shop for quality skincare

There is a reason behind this post at this time especially with the holidays in sight.
Around this time we tend to splurge more on Fashion than on beauty products, specifically skincare products (my own fact). So basically, skincare has that small chunk of monetary attention. It could be, you have little money to spare in this category OR;

What is Micellar Water And What Makes It An Efficient Makeup Remover

Nigerian beauty blogger explains what is micellar water

We are talking micellar water today. I almost typed “miscellaneous” because this is in fact a 3-in-1 fix all wrapped in one main motive; which is to rid your skin of dirt.

Micellar water has been around long before they started standing tall on "every" girl's table, thanks to innovation and the internet.

Nigerian beauty blogger review of baobab oil 1

I promised you on Instagram that I will be here today (connect with me on instagram @beautyfables) and thank you, thank you, thank you, for stopping by again.

I had to do a special post for this one, just had to. It's my first time trying out baobab oil which might be new to you as well- so I had to share my thoughts.

The Baobab oil might not be as popular as Shea Butter but it will surely get the attention it deserves in the nearest future. According to research, it has great benefits to offer the skin and hair even much more than your fave oil :D

REVIEW | Neutrogena Pore Refining Daily Cleanser On Oily Skin

Neutrogena Pore Refining Daily Cleanser on oily skin 1
Hi guys, Its been a minute :)
Last time, I reviewed The Advanced Retinoid 2% by The Ordinary which is still one of my favorite skincare products till date. But, I took a little time-out off it to put other products into my regimen rotation and also so I don't over-exfoliate my skin.
I will be sharing my thoughts about this really budget-friendly cleanser I got the other day at Ebeano supermarket in Lekki. A worthy purchase even with a few reactions notwithstanding- I tell ya!

REVIEW | An In depth Look At The Advanced Retinoid 2% by The Ordinary

In depth Review of The Advanced Retinoid 2% by The Ordinary Abnormal Beauty Company 1

My skin has been on the offence for the past three weeks; oddly positioned breakouts, rough patches here and there and a little bit of confidence lost.

I have heard a lot about The Ordinary for quite some time now and trust me to open several tabs about a brand just to see what the rave is really about.

HAIR HACK | How to Get Rid Of Braids Dirt Knot For Painless Comb Through

A hack or a tip? You be the judge of that.
I have been loving braids..I don't mean that by just liking photos on Instagram of some pretty girl on box braids or twist braids styled in four (4) ways but by action. Which wasn’t the case last year or two years ago because I always struggled with dryness when I take them out.
If you have natural hair especially 4C hair type and braid your hair you will understand the pain of combing your hair or having to deal with those knots at the root when taking out your braids. The pain I have to endure gives me a headache.
